Where do I begin? I don’t even know where to start… But seriously this has been a great year for me in this blogging sphere, I myself didn’t expect that I would be right here writing about my first ever Blogiversary post! I never really planned about blogging, I just remembered a year ago I fell in love with the #bookstagram community with all the amazing bookworms and how they share their love for books. Then an idea popped right of my head Why don’t I make a blog and post my book reviews and anything bookish there? I know I know you’ll be probably thinking that I can do the exact same thing on Instagram but having your own website makes a huge difference. So yeah, that’s when it all started!
I am really grateful for all the things that has happened to me when I started blogging. I gained a lot of friends, learned a lot from them too. I also got a chance to know amazing authors and review some of their works! I hope sooner or later I will meet you all personally especially my PH blogger friends out there!!
So here are questions that some of my Twitter and Bookstagram friends has sent me:
Q&A
Oh my, I can’t choose between the Percy Jackson series and the Harry Potter series! But I will go with the book series that I first read and loved, the Percy Jackson series, well as you may all know that I really enjoy reading stories about Greek mythology and this series is definitely the best ever!! + the humor of the characters
Choosing between what to eat: pizza or doughnuts
Kidding!! But on the serious note, I think the hardest thing I ever did or I am doing is surviving my college life. Everyday is a struggle but I keep on telling myself that everything will pay off in the end.
DOGS!!! I love dogs, we actually have 8 dogs π I also like cats and rabbits.
My first book? Hmm its got to be my first ever Bob Ong book, “Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan”. It’s a locally published book here in the Philippines. Back then, I was all about the scary/horror books.
One book that I wish more people would read would be Cecelia Ahern’s novel “The Gift” because that book was so inspirational and I love how the story was written, that book is truly a gem.
I’m a Business Administration student majoring in Financial Management π
My first course was actually Internal Auditing so I could become a CPA but you know things changed so I decided to shift to Financial Management.
My plans would be… find a stable job, earn/invest and be successful in my field of work. Publish my own book perhaps?
Maybe after that 5 years travel the world and be married if in God’s will. hehe
Here is a photo of my dream library π (This is a library in Prague)
My favorite genre would be psychological thriller or horror mysteryΒ but I’m starting to like fantasy and also I would also like to try reading Historical Fiction.
Can you suggest some recommendations so I can get started with it.
The Harry Potter series? I don’t really have a plan on reading the whole series because it was a 7 book series and I don’t see myself finishing it BUT I WAS WRONG!!
I finished that whole series for 2 month to be exact in between my finals week and it was one of the best of the best series I have ever read.
Oh c’mon it’s Team Cap!! I still need to watch Civil War though.
My first YA read was The Fault in Our Stars but I didn’t like it that much but thank God I got my hands on one of Stephanie Perkins’ novels and that was the start of my YA reading obsession.
PLANS FOR MY BLOG
I might be dividing my blog and putting up different features for my future travels and food adventures and I would also want to add a page for my life experiences just to give a little bit of myself into this blog.
I’m thinking about posting once or twice a week, I still don’t know but I’m going to schedule some soon. It’s my last year in college if you don’t know hehe and that means I will be VERY busy will my studies and my internship for this year until the first quarter of next year. So I realy hope I can keep track with my reading and blogging schedule.
Again, I want to thank everyone that has been a part of my one year in blogging and everyone who became my friends this wouldn’t happen without you awesome people!
The blogging community it the best!!!
With love,
Hey I see my question! π happy one year of blogging!
