A question that plagues every bookworm’s mind, “What should I(you) read next?” so here I am listing my recommendations for you. The recent books that made me laugh and made me say that books are really one of my best friends.
1. Hello Goodbye And Everything In Between by Jennifer Smith
Something about new beginnings; a simple hello, a goodbye that was a flashback of memories and everything that happened in between. I advise to go and read this book without knowing anything. It’s going to be one of those books you’re not expecting to like but you’re going to in the end.
2. Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
Beautifully written, every word made me feel every emotion that the poet was trying to convey. Poems about loss, trauma, healing abuse, love, and femininity, I loved everything.

3. Little Monsters by Kara Thomas
Little Monsters is a gripping novel that has an intense storyline and incredible characters. One thrilling read that will keep you up late at night. If you’re into mystery /thriller books this one is for you.
4. Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Mesmerizing, enthralling, whimsical and this book had me bewitched! A book that you cannot put down once you start reading it. An adventure of two sisters through the magical place of Caraval. Do you dare to be part of the game?
5. Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust
A fairytale retelling that absolutely a wonder to read. Mostly focused on character-driven plot, this book is simply magical. Frozen meets the classic fairy tale of Snow White, acclaimed to be a fantasy feminist fairy tale retelling! This book has shown me a whole new meaning of love the one you can’t hide behind snow and glass.
6. Royally Matched by Emma Chase
Shocking how I’ve easily fallen in love with adult novels and Emma Chase never fails to amaze me. Royally Matched is one delicious fairytale-esque novel! You’ll swoon over the characters for sure.
7. My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, Jodi Meadows
If you’re up for some humorous historical fiction, you better pick this book! It was so hilarious, entertaining and you’ll learn the brief history of the royal family back then. I never had a dull moment from the beginning until the end. If historical fiction was written like this, you’ll never see me reading another genre ever again.
8. Warcross by Marie Lu
My first book by Marie Lu! I have been holding back from reading her books because it’s under a genre I don’t like. This was an exception, it was everything I was looking for in a book from a genre I don’t normally reach for. This book is such a page-turner that you immediately get sucked into the story and don’t notice everything that’s happening around you. It’s action-packed and full of surprises.
Have you read any books on my list? Can you guys recommend me some of your current favorite books too?
